Smoke Herring Choka

Ingredients

2 smoked herring
1 medium onion chopped fine
2 werri werri pepper or a piece of hot pepper
1 stalk green onion chopped fine
The juice of 1 lime

Preparation
Soak the herring in cold water overnight or for about 3 hours changing the water often.
Shred the flesh and pick out the fine bones
Add all the ingredients and toss well.
